​PR Card renewal on humanitarian grounds​

In some cases, the PR card holders are unable to stay in Canada 2 out of the 5 years required to maintain their PR status and end up losing their PR status. In this situation you may be able to restore your PR status on humanitarian grounds. We advise you to contact us as soon as possible as we may be able to help you. We do not advise you to try and restore your PR status by yourself as it is a delicate and complicated procedure, any refusal may affect your future applications (2nd PR renewal attempt). Criminality may lead to a PR status being provoked, like having a DUI (Driving Under the Influence)  

Travel Documents

​Travel documents are issued upon request. Travel Documents are issued for those who do not have their passports. For example:

• Passport sized or expired when an applicant applied for refugee protection in Canada.

Since the applicant no longer holds a valid passport they can apply for a travel document allowing the applicant to travel outside of Canada.
